62nd Cannes International Film Festival

8 12 2008

13-24 May 2009

Get your golden palms ready My Darlings!

The 62nd Cannes International Film Festival – or le Festival de Cannes – is one of the world’s oldest, most influential and prestigious film festivals, held annually at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. The actual film competition and awards are restricted to the film industry and media, as accreditation, screening entry and admission to official venues are tightly controlled.

Translation: Public access denied!

Luckily, this festival of the arts is a Who’s Who and social whirlwind of  the Jet-set, the Aristocrats, the Creative, the Tastemakers, the Hangers-On, the Wealthy and…wait for it… Socialites for a fusion of film, fashion, music and infamous unsurpassed revelry.

Bien sur, THE soirée is de Grisogono’s annual gala given by Fawaz Gruosi.
Not to be missed is the Cannes Film Awards After Party… TBD for 2009…stay tuned for updates!
