Aloha Inaugural Ball

18 12 2008

18 January 2009

Black sands, warm tradewinds, tension gone on a wave of aloha spirit

Hawaii is one of The Faux Socialite’s© fav places…it’s the multi-cultural, mellow paradise of it all!

Quite fitting that the home state inaugural ball of Handsome-Elect Barack Obama is THE most coveted ticket in the Nation’s Capital!

Blaine Fergerstrom

The Aloha Inaugural Ball, sponsored by Hawaii for Obama and held at the  Marriott Wardman Park,  is open to everyone, but getting a ticket?

Wellll….not so simple.

You see Faux Socialites, this event had been SOLD OUT for a few weeks…particularly considering the rumor that Good Looking-Elect could pop in for a visit…

The Faux Socialite© Note: Remember that “No is not an option!” While tickets can not be extorted or stolen…cough, cough…an enterprising Faux Socialite knows that obtaining sponsorship (with 10 friends) is often event entrée gold.
